Clarence Fernandes, the Representative at Rwanda Development Board in India, announced today, that RwandAir will attent at the Outbound Travel Market, that will take place at Mumbai Exhibition Centre from 18 to 20 February 2016. The RwandAir Team will be in the “Remarkable Rwanda” delegation.
“As Frank Mugambage, Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Uganda, remarked, “RwandAir has plans this year of extending its destinations to Europe, India and China”.
Such a move will be most welcome. We in Mumbai are preparing to receive the first ever tourism delegation from Remarkable Rwanda for the Outbound Travel Market, which will be held at the Mumbai Exhibition Centre from 18 to 20 February 2016.
RwandAir’s participation at this travel expo has evinced great interest already and its proposed entry into the Indian air space will be welcomed with open arms.”
RwandAir plans to begin service to India, from September 2016, using its brand new A330. Over 15 millions Indian outbound travellers in 2012, likely to grow to 50 millions in 2020. Rwanda (and thus RwandAir) want clearly attract more Indians visitors
RwandAir Chairman among panelists at the 2016 Global Aerospace Summit

Girma Wake, the Chairman of RwandAir, will attend at the 2016 Global Aerospace Summit, which will take place at Abu Dhabi, on 7 and 8 March 2016. The announcement was made today, by the management of the summit.
The Global Aerospace Summit is part of the Abu Dhabi Aviation and Aerospace Week which is held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The Summit is the premier cross-industry thought leadership forum addressing challenges and driving future strategies for the Aerospace industry. The 2016 event will be held on 07 – 08 March 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a theme crucial for all industries alike: innovation.
The Summit is an industry-led event with discussion topics and outcomes driven by a high-level Advisory Board. At the heart of the Aerospace sector lie innovative concepts, but the Summit’s role will far exceed examining how aircraft, launch systems and satellites will evolve.
