17h10 : according to Kenya Airways, two flights will be operated tomorrow  between Nairobi and Kigali. All flights will be operated to and from Unit 3 (Kenya Airways).

KQ442 depart 10.50 and KQ 446 depart 23h50. But timetables can change at the last minute

According to Brussels Airport SN463 Brussels Kigali Nairobi Brussels is canceled.  

14h00 : according to Standard Media, full operations will resume at Nairobi, from midnight . But it will take time before all the trafic back to the normal. 

All flights will be operated from Unit 2 (International airlines) and Unit 3 (Kenya Airways).

KQ442 left Nairobi en route Kigali, operated with a B737 (116 seats), instead of an ERJ- 170 (72 seats) :

09h00 : currently over 300 passengers are stranded at Kigali, waiting for a flight to Nairobi. RwandAir has already canceled its morning flight. The  airline will confirm in coming hours, if the afternoon flight will be operated. Flight KQ442, depart from Nairobi at 13h00 seems to be operated.

All flights are currently operated to and from Cargo terminal (Nairobi airport). No possible to buy a ticket, at the airport.

-All domestic flights will from today be taken from KQ Cargo ACHL (Green) Building, JKIA Cargo Area. 

-The authority is setting up a temporal Arrivals Terminal at Unit 3 to serve as International Arrivals/Departures.

Rwanda Civil Aviation is ready to handle some diversions. In 2010, during the eruption of Icelendic volcano, Icelandair based aircraft at Glasgow and Norway, during 10 days to provide service between the continent and the city of Akuyeri in Iceland

 17h22 : The Kenyan authorities announced the resumption of international  flights operated by Kenya Airways tomorrow.

 16h32 : The Kenyan authorities announced the resumption of  flights at 19h00, this evening. Only Kenya Airways domestic flights will be operated. Airline will use Unit 3. Press conference at 18h00.
